I wasn...An instant blast back to my 70's past. I wasn't as familiar with Callas, but David Frye was a huge television presence when I was growing up. Frankly, when I remember Nixon, I think first of Frye's impression and then of Nixon himself saying "Sock it to Me?" on Laugh-In. I remember him well. I hate to sound like an old fogie but I miss the variety shows of the '60s and '70s and the talk shows like Carson and Griffin, where you could see comedians like this ply their trade.Suzinoreply@blogger.com
